TERMS & CONDITIONS
The general terms for using the Project Gabru website and participating in PG activities.
These terms apply to use of the Project Gabru website and, where incorporated into an event registration, to participation in the relevant PG activity.
1. About Project Gabru
Project Gabru is an independent grassroots basketball community initiative focused on youth development through sports. PG currently operates in Bharuch and surrounding areas of Gujarat.
PG does not represent itself as a government organisation, basketball governing body, registered company, trust, society or foundation unless expressly stated.
2. Website use
You may use this website for lawful, personal and informational purposes. Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation or submit information that you are not authorised to provide.
3. Event registration
Each event may have its own registration requirements, eligibility rules, fees, schedules, cancellation terms and refund policy. The terms displayed with that event or registration form form part of the participation arrangement.
For participants under 18, registration and participation require parent or legal guardian consent.
4. Fees, cancellations and refunds
PG will communicate the applicable fee and any event-specific cancellation/refund terms before registration is completed. If an event is cancelled, postponed or substantially changed, PG will communicate the applicable refund, credit or alternative arrangement for that event.
5. Sport and participation risk
Basketball is a physical activity and carries inherent risks, including injury. Participants are expected to follow coach, referee, venue and event instructions and to report injuries or safety concerns promptly. Additional participant-safety information is available on the Participant Safety page.
6. Results and event records
PG aims to maintain accurate event records. Published results, standings and statistics may be corrected when an error is identified and verified against available event records. Corrections are controlled by the Project Gabru Team.
7. Coaches, officials and partners
PG may collaborate with schools, academies, teams, coaches, referees, volunteers and supporting organisations. A collaboration or appearance on the website does not automatically mean that PG has a formal partnership, endorsement or affiliation with that organisation. PG will identify confirmed relationships accurately.
8. Intellectual property and media
Project Gabru branding, original website content and PG-created materials may not be copied or used in a misleading way without permission. Participant photography and video are handled through the relevant event/media consent process and the Privacy Policy.
9. Community conduct
Players, parents/guardians, coaches, referees and volunteers are expected to follow the Community Code of Conduct.
10. Changes
PG may update these terms as its activities, website or legal requirements develop. Event-specific terms may also be updated before a future registration.
